Our friends at England Preserves combined the deliciousness to make a marmalade with one of our favourite teas. Here they are together, so that you can drink the tea with the tea-infused marmalade - doubling down on the pleasures.
Smokey Tea Marmalade is a golden and fragrant fruit preserve made from Seville oranges, infused with our Malawi Mountain Moto, a hand-rolled black tea that is uniquely smoked over guava leaves at Satemwa Estate in the Shire Highlands of Malawi.
Tasted together the gentle smokey notes in the marmalade are lifted by the hot, aromatic tea. Butter and marmalade balance the tannins in the tea, rather like adding milk and sugar to your cup - creating the perfect pairing, with the addition of a beautiful citrus tang.
